Behrensbau
Stunning piece of historical industrial architecture
The legendary footbridge which connects the districts of Oberschöneweide and Niederschöneweide was designed by Heinrich Müller-Breslau. During World War II it was blown up and then rebuilt from 2005 to 2007. It continues to be a popular foot and bike path in the former industrial and working-class district. By the way it’s also a nice place to enjoy sunsets and sunrises in the summer.
