Just across a bridge from the city center and sitting directly across from parliament is the island of Christianshavn, founded by one of Denmark’s best known Kings ‘Christian IV’ in 1619. Walk along it’s narrow cobbled streets, enjoy a cold beer by the canals or eat some of the greatest food you’ll find in Copenhagen – Christianhavn has it all.

Located just around the corner from our office, Parterre is a great place to go get a great cup of coffee. It is located in an old building facing the Canals and has an outdoor sitting area. Parterre is a father and son business, very cosy, and serves great coffee from the Swedish roaster Koppi.
