Old shipping containers stacked on top of each other on a man-made beach, ambling down to the shore of the IJ: Pllek is just as awesome as it sounds. This restaurant/bar/beach club is very family friendly, but keep in mind that it’s also home to Amsterdam’s biggest disco ball. That means on Friday and Saturday nights, things can get pretty heated (one might even say ‘lit’).
