Marietta
Marietta Pizza Company
Any world traveler knows the value of testing a city's local pizza. From Rome to Chicago to New York, each savory pie is cooked to cultural standards that any foodie is tempted to explore. While Marietta, GA isn't the cultural phenomenon Rome, Italy may be, the pizza is certainly worth exploring -- and what better place to start than Marietta Pizza Co.? With two locations, one on Marietta Square and one in West Cobb, Marietta Pizza provides a family environment for consuming your standard pizza favorites. The West Cobb location tends to pull more families than the square, but both locations offer delivery if you want to enjoy your pizza in the peace and quiet of your home. While Marietta Pizza may bear the name of our charming small town, the pizza is what you would expect from a typical local shop. Their menu has some nice speciality options for the foodies (like The Florentine with Spinach, Artichoke Hearts, Grilled Chicken, Tomatoes, and Fresh Garlic), but you also can't go wrong with their standard pepperoni and cheese pizza is. Of note, their full pies are better than their slices, so try to work out a deal with your table to share. Their salads are also a nice compliment to their pizzas. We like their company salad with their Greek House (or Esperanza) Dressing. If you like a good, cheesy pie, this is a good go-to spot. If you're looking for authentic Italian or specialty pizza, you may come up a bit shorthanded. Either way, you can't go wrong with pizza and beer!
