Burnet Road
Thunderbird
Thunderbird is a locally owned coffee & tap café specializing in direct-trade beans and craft brews. Walk up and encounter a smorgasbord of noshing options: Made in-house sandwiches, Quacks baked goods, bagel dogs (toasted to order and in my opinion served best with mustard), oatmeal, and more. Taco Deli choices are offered in the morning but quickly sell out, so if you get one of these tacos with your coffee you know it’s fresh. Clean, modern, and cozy environment to host a multitude of engagements partaking in beverages and snacks. To mention a few: dates, friend meet-ups, interviews, quick work lunch meetings, family chill time, and as always good spot to noodle around on digital devices. Inside space has plenty of seating options. Soft bench-like booth seating available, hightop barstools with backs, and chair seating at lower tables. Some of the tables are long and multiple people can share comfortably. NOTE: no outlets to charge your things, so come prepared & CHARGED. But if you do indeed need a charge they do offer to take your device to the back and charge it for a bit. Kind souls! Whether the rain or sun is pouring down you’ll have a comfy covered porch to rest and sip the beverage of your choice. The porch is covered, yet open and has zip-able windows with seating all around, which I find the perfect combination of outdoor comfort choices. Dogs allowed on porch and even encouraged, they have water bowls out for the pups.
