Cherrywood
Just east of the University of Texas campus sits the Cherrywood neighborhood, where life-long Austinites mingle with the city’s growing creative class and enjoy a laid back vibe where all the best things are local. The community is as tight-knit as it is diverse and is home to a collection of places that bring people together. It is what Austin does best, at its most authentic. This shaded neighborhood of homes, cafes, bars, shops, and restaurants, owned and frequented by locals, features the kind of places that cultivate ‘regulars’ and are described by newcomers in highest praise as ‘so Austin.’

Sharing a yard with Butterfly Bar tucked away on Manor Road, Patrizi's is a food truck with some delizioso Italian food. Seriously, patrizis.com. Look at the pictures—words don't really do it justice—but if you get stuck on what to get you can't go wrong with any of the items with 'meatball' in them. Once you've ordered, eat in their casual yet romantic open air dining space, or the larger yard area with a stage that features some pretty eclectic live music.
