Bay Ridge gets it’s unique character from the locals that give it friendly but no-nonsense charm, and it’s color from working class immigrants that breath life to this sprawling neighborhood. In recent years younger design-centric folks like us who are moving into the neighborhood are giving it new dimension. Whether you want to picnic on the grass of owl head’s park with your falafel sandwich or you’re planning to cook a feast of exotic asian delicacies at our large Chinese Markets, you’ll find what you need, with some surprises along the way.

Brooklyn Beet Company is the sister restaurant of South Slopes’ Korzo. It is a truly delightful casual dinning experience of Eastern European comfort food. Brooklyn Beet Company is one of the few restaurants in Bay Ridge that serves farm-fresh food and also one of two places that sells the Korzo Burger® a registered and heavenly burger. Although the restaurant is quite small, they do have a lovely backyard for warm-weather dinning.
