Park Slope is one of the most gorgeous Brooklyn neighborhoods, in the northwest part of Brooklyn south of the Prospect Park. It is a laid-back, family-friendly (in a NYC kind of way), somewhat recently redefined neighborhood. Locals say 20 years ago it was drastically different, with lots of moms and pops shops, small casual businesses, laundromats and liquor stores. Some still remain, but with the new neighbors, whether it’s a gourmet bodega or a craft beers store, a Ramen noodle shops, a hip vintage boutique or another . “Park Slope” expanded itself all the way to the Barclays Center north and 4th avenue west.
