Downtown & Rivermarket

The River Market and downtown areas are the oldest neighborhoods in kansas city, with tons of gritty history, including being partially blown up during mob wars in the 1940s . With its Location being the heart of historical KC as well as right on the Missouri river, there are tons of walking trails or a street car to take in stellar views and architecture. The area is also the host to the largest farmers market in the region, so good food and drink are easy to come by. Its a killer place to visit year round.

The vibe upon entering this little restaurant is euro bohemian. It’s a great place to get a good quality pastry and cup of coffee. The cafe also offers breakfast, lunch and libations. The food is based in french traditional, but with surprising flavors and textures. If you’re downtown its worth a visit.
