The River Thames and the path alongside it runs through Richmond. It’s a beautiful setting and provides a nice escape from the busy town centre. Take a stroll past the boathouse where you can see them working outside on the boats and barges that sail up and down the Thames. You can walk along the full stretch of the Thames, and if you’ve got a minute it’s relaxing to sit down and watch the ducks and boats pass on the river.
