Whitechapel

With the City of London just a stone’s throw away and Shoreditch on the doorstep, Whitechapel is still diverse enough to keep things interesting. There’s a lot on offer with a good mix of newcomers and a solid selection of well established neighbourhood staples to choose from. From the famous Indian restaurants to the local art scene, and everything in-between, there’s a lot to discover in this edgy and unrefined part of town.

The name ‘Second Home’ refers to the second berth in a business’s development between having a bright idea in a coffee shop and a growing company with expanding space requirements. It has flexible leasing terms and no deposit is needed to secure a space… tucked into a side street, Second Home occupies the ground and first floor of a three-storey former carpet factory. The building was transformed by Selgas Cano Architects, which makes the cafe a brilliant spot to work from.
