Atwater Village
If you’re an eastsider, Atwater Village is where you move if you want to feel a little bit grown up, but aren’t quite ready to be Eagle Rock grown up. Once no more than poppy fields, this lesser known, little-brother neighborhood is on the rise. Compete with other “creatives” to get a “I can’t believe we actually got it” house before Forbes gets word about all the cool stuff happening here and ruins everything. But seriously, this place is as diverse as it is welcoming. Quiet, tree-lined streets? Check. Surplus of locals-heavy happy hours and vibrant weekend energy? Yep. New bars, cafes and interesting shops opening on the regs? All the time. That elusive ‘community feel’? In spades. It's the perfect LA neighborhood for discovery...and also brunch.

The day The Juice opened, the whole world knew Atwater Village was serious about being an LA neighborhood hipsters could settle down in. This mom and pop shop is as good as any of the pillars of the juice community you’ll find in the beach towns or Silverlake/Los Feliz. They even have a super cool bike cart for mobile sales and they deliver too. Try a #4 and feel the tasty fire of the triple ginger!
