El Segundo
Known affectionately by residents and local media as the "Mayberry by the Sea"– or known not at all! A haven of locally owned shops and bars that has been gloriously frozen in time.

Walk your dog, pick up a game of basketball, watch a high school baseball game, practice your swing in a batting cage, or play a round of tennis. With a residents-only membership card, you can reserve a tennis or racquet ball court, check out recreation equipment, and reserve a picnic table for a family bbq. It's a park and a half and hosts several community events throughout the year, including its well-known 4th of July celebration.
