Flowing from the Everglades in western Miami-Dade County, the Miami River twists through the city until the mouth opens into Biscayne Bay. It’s here where the river splits the city center into Miami’s Historic Downtown and Brickell Financial District with riverwalks on either bank. Explore the foundations of Miami’s Aboriginal people, settlements of American pioneers, landmark architecture, breathtaking vistas, waterfront parks and fine dining.

This chain is best known for their dry-aged steaks and wine, but if you sit at the bar there’s an abbreviated menu that serves healthy portions for $8 before 7PM and $12 after. The two sliders are big enough for you to share with a buddy and they come with a side of shoestring fries. The caesar salad’s great too but order the german potatoes that are seared in a skillet with bacon and cheese if you’re really hungry.
