Whittier
Art. Food. Culture. Repeat. The Whittier neighborhood is a vibrant platform for emerging artists, family run eateries, diverse cultural influence and incredible authenticity. "Eat Street" (Nicollet Avenue) is home to a gamut of restaurants inspired by Vietnamese, Hispanic, Mediterranean, Caribbean tastes, among others. Grab a coffee at 10pm, wander the galleries tucked off of the main drag, and when it's nice out, make sure to take advantage of the plentiful open-air dining options and watch the mix of worlds collide.

The Copper Hen Cakery & Kitchen is a charming little bistro with a short list of dishes and a lot of love in the offerings. The café is pleased to offer market-to-table cuisine and the decor is a little rustic and very friendly. They have a full bar and a case of delicious looking mason jar cupcakes for those that are looking for a treat. It's a great place to have a sunny lunch with a friend or return at night for a simple romantic dinner.
