As they say on the company’s website, it’s “one of the greatest bookstores on the face of the Earth.” and we completely agree. The tiny bookstore is like a good friend’s living room jammed full of excellent books. Named after Gertrude Stein’s first published book, Three Lives & Company is one of a small number of independent bookstores remaining in NYC. The staff are dedicated to passionate readers and the local community. It’s just an enchanting place to visit.
