Owned and run by mother and daughter team Julie and Jessica, Red Retro is one of our favourite little cafes in the northern suburbs. Great coffee, organic teas, superb cheap toasties and all manner of gorgeous cakes, pies and baked goods. The breakfasts are pretty good too. Plus there’s a shop, selling homewares, jewellery, cards, novelty pressies and even furniture. Something for everyone. Mostly it’s the atmosphere we love about this place and the friendliest staff. Oh, and did we mention how good the coffee is. Red Retro in Currambine really is a true, hidden gem.
