Rittenhouse Square

Rittenhouse Square is one of the most ritzy neighborhoods in the city. But when you spend enough time in it, you realize that right next to the old time glitz and glamour, Weird-Philadelphia is still running strong. It's an area rich in parks, rich in shops and restaurants, and...well...just plain rich. But don't let the fur coats keep you away, there are some real gems you shouldn't miss.

If you ask anyone about this place, they will inevitable say ‘there aren’t many places like that anymore’. And they are totally, 100% right. This place is book heaven. It’s a hardcover mecca. It’s the most pure form of bibliophile-crack in Philadelphia. There’s shelf after shelf of books on art, design, architecture, and extensive offerings in fiction and non-fiction.
