Division

Nestled between the Clinton and Sunnyside neighborhoods in the shadow of Mt. Tabor, this once quiet street has quickly grown to a bustling food destination. Luckily for the locals, SE Division has maintained some of the original charm of historic homes, food carts, antique stores, and pot shops amongst the Nationally recognized restaurants and craft cocktails.

Let’s get one thing straight: Portland isn’t the best city for dim sum. You need to go to Vancouver BC or San Francisco or even Seattle. But, when the craving hits, WK (and HK Cafe) are the only places you should go in Portland for the real thing. On the weekend, my advise is to try to hit the sweet spot of not being so early that you miss out on the variety of carts, but still early enough that you aren’t waiting two hours for a table. Order lots, it’s cheap and don’t let them convince you to get the chicken feet!
