When founder Roger Hillyard opened the shop—named after his grandfather, Jack Farley—in 1989, he envisioned a place where neighborhood residents could gather, talk, and relax. Nearly 30 years later, Farley's is still a place where everyone is welcome. Families, artists, laptop-toting workers, and groups of friends and neighbors share the airy space and the elevated parklet out front.
