SoDo & Georgetown
The things that make this neighborhood special are the same things that have kept the masses away for so many years. Criss-crossing train tracks. Planes roaring over rows of warehouses. A backdrop of shipping cranes. It's this timeless grit and industrial chic that has given rise to a flourishing community of restaurants, bars, breweries, art galleries, photo studios, and coffee shops. There is no veneer. It's as real as Seattle gets.

One of the last standing independent record stores in the city, Georgetown Records takes pride in having an almost exclusively vinyl collection (the only CD's they sell are from local artists). Any day of the week you can find local musicians and DJs flipping through the stacks. The store shares space with Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery, which makes a truly unique venue for live in-store performances and events. Viva la vinyl!
