Potts Point is Sydney’s quintessential success story of seedy to sophisticated. Once a notorious red-light district and night spot, Potts Point has recently toned down its bad boy reputation becoming Sydney’s contemporary cultural hub. Home to some of the sleekest bars, restaurants and boutiques in Sydney - it’s definitely worth a visit.

The neighbourhood’s busiest Italian restaurant, Fratelli Paradiso merges classic flavours with contemporary flare. The food is reasonably priced and the menu changes weekly, but their famous fiorentina steak is a staple. The wines are all excellent and fairly pricey. Sitting outside on a warm Sydney evening is the best, but weekend brunch is also a must. Our final word on Fratelli is the service, which is always outstanding.
