Hastings-Sunrise & Grandview-Woodland

As two of Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhoods, Hastings–Sunrise and Grandview-Woodland offer a vibrant mix of commercial, industrial, recreational and residential spaces. The northern ends of both neighbourhoods meet the shores of the Burrard Inlet and provide you with a stunning backdrop of mountains and ocean views. The juxtaposition of industrial structures against the majesty of these mountains makes this neighbourhood feel unique. Nestled between the warehouses and factories are a number of hidden breweries, shops, artist studios, parks and eateries. Best explored by bike, start your day off with a pre adventure breakfast and end it with a beer on the beach and soak up the sky as it turns from blue to pink to black behind the North Shore mountain ranges.

There's a is a mix of antiques and interesting furniture that you won’t find at Ikea. If you’re not an antique collector though, you might find it hard to tell the difference between a priceless original and a dusty lamp. That being said, it’s a fun place to visit on a Saturday morning with a coffee in hand. The space is impressive and with two storeys of goods, you won’t run out of things to lust over.
