Bushwick
Recently dubbed the 7th coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue Magazine, Bushwick is in the throes of intense transformation. It’s a neighborhood with a complex history we’ve watched unfold over the past 12 years, with conflicting sentiment. The community-led, creative neighborhood we call home is holding on tight to it’s authentic grit.

Mother and son team, Carmen and Leonardo, opened this amazing Venezuelan joint back in 2010, and it's been a godsend. From their delicious vegetariana arepa (avocado, salty guayanes cheese, sweet plantains & slice of tomato), pabellon criollo dish (shredded beef, white rice, black beans, fried sweet plantains, sprinkled with salty cheese), traditional tres en uno juice (beet, carrot, fresh-squeezed orange juice), to the star of the show: the COCADA (insanely delicious coconut milk shake). Guacuco is one of our favorites, not only for the food, but for the great soundtrack, and the warmth of the owners and staff.
