Peaceful brownstone lined streets juxtaposed to popular bustling avenues make Crown Heights a delight to visit and to live. While it hasn't always had the best reputation for some, the proud community and rich Caribbean and Hasidic culture shine through to delight and inspire you.

No matter how you pronounce it (I've been told chent-ah-nee), Cent'Anni is a fantastic Italian restaurant serving up all kinds of traditional handmade pastas and slow cooked sauces. There's a lot of things that they do well, but the ragu is what it's all about. Definitely go with the handmade pasta section and have them pile on their grandma's ragu sauce while they're at it. The kind and attentive service can help you enjoys those pastas in either their moody indoor atmosphere or their spacious open back patio.
