Prospect Lefferts Gardens
Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a small and quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn bordering the east side of Prospect Park. The area boasts a lush historic district and has been rapidly changing in the two years we've lived here; quite a few of our favorite spots in PLG only just opened their doors within the past year.

This tiny bar is tucked around the corner from the main Avenue, so wandering in here feels like discovering PLG's best kept secret. You can't go wrong with their inventive house specialties like Big Willie Style (bourbon, spiced-honey balsamic reduction, muddled strawberries), and Señor Hemingway (tequila, mezcal, grapefruit, lime, maraschino liqueur), but for a real treat ask Rob to mix you something special. It's also a great coffee shop in the mornings, and three nights a week a tamale cart parks right outside for your drunken pleasure.
