Prospect Lefferts Gardens
Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a small and quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn bordering the east side of Prospect Park. The area boasts a lush historic district and has been rapidly changing in the two years we've lived here; quite a few of our favorite spots in PLG only just opened their doors within the past year.

This adorable pie shop, bar and coffee house just opened its doors in March 2015. Owner Allison Pels lives right upstairs, and her menu features a mouth-watering selection of fresh-baked butter crust pies that changes daily. They make everything from scratch here with the best produce from local farms. The decor is bright and inviting, and if it's nice out, the backyard is a real gem. Oh yeah, and did we mention it's around the corner from our apartment? We're smitten.
