There is a rich history in this district that dates back to the late 1800's and it continues to evolve. Once a vibrant marketplace for meat + produce + flowers, to the meatpacking district, to now restaurant row. There is a lot to see, but mostly eat here!
Greek Islands has been around since the 70's and was opened by a group of friends who came over from Greece. It is my go to spot whenever I'm in the mood for some greek food. I tried their fried eggplant appetizer recently and it was so darn good.
