There is a rich history in this district that dates back to the late 1800's and it continues to evolve. Once a vibrant marketplace for meat + produce + flowers, to the meatpacking district, to now restaurant row. There is a lot to see, but mostly eat here!
Newer to the neighborhood, but not new to the country, Gus's had humble beginnings down south in the 70's and now people say this is their favorite fried chicken in Chicago! I personally loved the fried green tomatoes.
