Dublin’s south side is an increasingly good place to be as a creative, with a tight-knit design community that is incredibly welcoming. The streets are in a constant state of flux, with new restaurants and shops joining the classic historic charm that the city is steeped in. There’s nothing better than spending a Sunday wandering around the myriad of book stores before retiring to a cosy pub for the evening.

Look past the slightly unnecessary theme and the ridiculously awkward saddle seating and there is a dependable bar and bbq that is well worth a visit. Boasting probably the finest slow roasted meats in Dublin at a more than reasonable price, we find ourselves ending up here more times than we would like to admit. The selection of whiskeys isn’t half bad either.
