Aurora
Modern European eatery open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Natasha and Matt’s love for sandwiches goes back many years, from teenage jobs in O’Briens, to sandwich tours of NYC. They’ve spent the better part of nine months renovating the old Snax Cafe venue into a relaxed mid-century haven on the edge of Leith.
Their “big hot sandwiches” are all served on focaccia squares, generously stuffed with filling and smothered in delicious condiments. The short-rib is a signature, with red sauerkraut, parsnip crisps and horseradish mayo. The veggies will not be disappointed either with spiced roasted cauliflower, garlic & lemon tahini, coriander dressing and pickled onions.
They’re open late, so you can bring along your own wine/beers too.
A great alternative dinner spot, just don’t leave it too late, they’re selling out fast.
