Glasgow

Based on a grid system, Glasgow’s streets and lanes are packed with coffee houses, beer-stops, places to grab quick burgers or 3 coursers, galleries, parks, an art-house cinema and Victorian sandstone buildings. Glasgow is compact, you can see a lot of the city in a short space of time, we also have our own underground tube system to get around fast. With a diverse music scene across pubs and clubs, there are gigs and acts on every night of the week. A 30 minute drive away will also lead you to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park — full of lochs, glens, castles and hills.

Stan's Studio is Glasgow’s first pay-what-you-want cafe. The space doubles as owner and artist Sarah Stanley’s personal studio. The multi-functional cafe also holds events and exhibitions. Crafted with OSB board, artwork and handwritten signs are everywhere you look. The menu is locally sourced — homemade soup, orange drizzle cake and cookies. There’s a ton of vegan alternatives, including Volos (Vegan Rolo’s) and Oreo/Cashew bars. You can also buy bottled ginger ale made in-house or Stan’s house blend coffee, ‘Get Up, Stan Up’. The space is welcoming and sits around 10 people.
