East End

The East End is where Houston was born, where her original immigrants settled, where her industry planted roots, and where babies boomed. Today it’s filled with people way cooler than you and places you’ve likely never been, and we like it that way: just the way it is, so stay the hell away.

Bo's is the neighborhood hub that you want in every neighborhood in the city. They've got good coffee, great beer options, open mic nights, friendly staff, decent food, music on the weekends, festivals or food trucks sporadically, and just a comfortable vibe. Come around 6:30-7pm on Thursdays and join the (unaffiliated, but nice and social) [Bohemeo's Badass Bike Ride](https://www.facebook.com/groups/106062032876910/?ref=br_rs). And they're in Tlaquepaque Market ([Kanomwan Thai](http://www.houstonpress.com/location/kanomwan-thai-6798066), CrossFit Houston, [Blue Line East End](http://www.bluelinebikelab.com/storelocator/east-end-2.htm), etc) to boot.
