During the summer, on the west side of the park, you might sometimes see a long queue of scantily clad people with towels, patiently waiting in the sun, eager to cool off in the water or pose by the poolside of London Fields Lido. The 50m Olympic size outdoor swimming pool is floodlit, open all year round and is heated to 25 degrees which makes swimming in the winter a joy. The swimming pool has lane swimming available all day, swimming lessons for children and adults and one to one swimming lessons. There is also a nice cafe and seating area outside to refuel after burning some calories.
