On the outskirts of London Fields on Richmond Road there is a small row of restaurants and while all of them are good, Rawduck takes the top spot as far as we're concerned. No matter what time of day, the food, the setting and the extensive wine list never fails to satisfy. Offering one of the nicest brunches in the area on the weekends with a roast on Sunday, they also place a lot of emphasis on ferments, pickles and drinking vinegars, all of which are created in-house. The menu of small and large plates changes weekly with ingredients coming from suppliers who share the same passion for food with honesty and character. Here's hoping they never remove the buttermilk chicken with fermented soy and chilli dipping sauce!
