Ville-Marie
Ville-Marie was named the “Neighbourhood of the future” in the 1960s and has been iconic ever since. An aggregate of the trendiest stores, venues and restaurants, it’s no wonder the area consistently attracts crowds of tourists and native Montrealers alike. Ville-Marie also boasts a growing collection of some of the most impressive modern buildings on the island, complemented by rich historical architecture and monuments. It’s the heart of Montreal for a reason!

Located on the 46th floor, the Observation Deck Au Sommet Place Ville Marie offers a jaw-dropping, 360-view of Montreal and Mount-Royal. Even bumper-to-bumper traffic and bright orange construction cones seem to melt into the landscape in a way that’s (almost) endearing. Just below the observation deck is #MTLGO, an interactive exhibition that immerses visitors in the everyday rituals of Montrealers. Feeling peckish? Visit the 44th floor to eat at Les Enfants Terribles, a brasserie with character and another breathtaking view.
