PS1 has been home to some of the world’s best contemporary art since the mid-seventies. The museum offers a wide range of exhibitions including painting, sculpture, installations and performance. In the summer, be sure to catch Warm Ups, an outdoor music series that takes place in the courtyard. But perhaps the most fascinating aspect of PS1 is the building itself, which retains the character of its past.
