Scott's Addition
Just call it Richmond’s Pied Piper. Scott’s Addition, the gritty industrial neighborhood buffeted by the Museum District to the south and Northside to the north, is in the midst of a super-charged renaissance, enticing businesses and individuals alike to live, work, and play within its vibrant urban confines. Buoyed by historic tax credits, an unbeatable central location, and constant buzz, the neighborhood boasts a dynamic fusion of grit and panache: casual joints and gourmet eateries, upscale boutiques and eclectic antique shops, sleek apartments housed in renovated warehouses, and a host of creative and industrial businesses. But our little secret is out, thanks to national recognition as a premiere destination courtesy of the five craft breweries, two cideries, a meadery, and a whiskey distillery within these 152 acres.

This new spot serves up one dish and one dish only: the classic American hot dog. Truly -- perusing the menu is like a quick tour around the county. There’s the Chicago, with its dill pickle spear, cucumber, hot peppers, and celery salt. The Coney Island, piled high with chili, onions, and mustard. And the Seattle, a polish sausage smeared in cream cheese, sauteed onions, jalapenos, and spicy brown mustard. (If you’re not hungry yet, you will be soon.)
