Cayuga Nature Center
Trails, rehabilitated animals to visit, a treehouse - so much to do!
The city of Ithaca sits in the ancient lake bed of a once enormous Cayuga Lake, with Cornell University on the hill to the East, and Ithaca College on the hill to the South. Waterfalls and gorges climb the hills that surround city center, leading to great adventure and some of our most favorite places to explore.

The Clay School was born out of a need for a collaborative space after Cornell closed it's clay studio. This bright, creative space is in a renovated industrial factory high on South Hill (take a moment to check out the view). Filled with wheels, tables, and knowledgeable instructors, you can take a two hour "try it" workshop, or wheel throwing, handbuilding, and sculpture classes. Artists are welcome to rent shelf space and use the equipment.
