Referred to as the Central Park of Los Angeles, Griffith Park is one of the largest urban parks in North America with 4,000+ acres on the end of the Santa Monica Mountains. Within it are lush hidden gardens, views of the whole city below & some of the best hiking trails around. There is something for everyone in Griffith Park & no trip to LA is complete without a visit.

The Los Angeles Zoo is known for housing / bringing back the endangered California Condor, many Asian elephants & a chimpanzee exhibit. Along with unique plants & trees on the grounds, it's been known in the past to have animals escape periodically into the surrounding Griffith Park!
