Referred to as the Central Park of Los Angeles, Griffith Park is one of the largest urban parks in North America with 4,000+ acres on the end of the Santa Monica Mountains. Within it are lush hidden gardens, views of the whole city below & some of the best hiking trails around. There is something for everyone in Griffith Park & no trip to LA is complete without a visit.

At the top of Mount Lee is the symbolic Hollywood Sign facing out towards Hollywood. The hike to the top is a right of passage for every Angeleno. We recommend starting at the Bronson Caves (address given) & then hiking to the top, since you can no longer drive to it. It's roughly 60mins. one way so bring a water bottle & wear your hiking shoes!
