Powderhorn Park is a large, hilly green space surrounding a beautiful lake in the heart of the Powderhorn neighborhood. With multiple sports fields and facilities, playgrounds, trails, waterfront views, and a recreation center that includes a gym and activities rooms, it is a wonderful place for children and families to exercise and spend time outside. Plan a picnic on a sunny afternoon or take a stroll through the grounds and watch ducklings drift across the lake with their parents. Powderhorn Park is also the site of the annual May Day Festival (which features 10-foot-high handmade puppets!), an iconic example of the neighborhood's community pride.
