Murray Hill & Kips Bay
Nestled somewhere between the Chrysler building and Gramercy Park, this nondescript stretch of Manhattan is often overlooked. Once ranked as America’s bro-iest neighborhood (seriously), there’s actually much to love in Murray Hill/Kips Bay. And for those who explore it, little pops of character and hidden gems might just take you by surprise.

Curry Hill refers to the dozens of Indian restaurants clustered along Lexington Avenue between 27th and 28th street. With various regions and distinct cuisines, you'll definitely want to expand your palette here. While every New Yorker has their Curry Hill favorites, I recommend exploring the block a little and seeing what calls you. You really can't go wrong here. But if you also want some ambiance to go with your your naan, have a closer look at Bhatti, Chote Nawab or Haldi.
