River North

River North's name is aptly derived from the fact that it is located just north of the Chicago River. Despite it's uncreative title, River North is home to some of Chicago's premier art galleries, design studios, and bustling night life. Originally home to old industrial warehouses forming a hub around Chicago's Merchandise Mart, artists and designers began flooding the area for cheap, rentable loft spaces perfect for their artistic endeavors. We love River North because we can find inspiration at every corner, not to mention terrific food.

Bohemian culture first emerged in Europe as a way to describe the lifestyles of anti-establishment artists, writers, musicians, and actors living a free spirited, deconstructed lifestyle. It's fitting that a place like Bohemian House has found a home in River North, a neighborhood made famous through its artistic community. Enjoy the restaurant's eclectic decor and carefree essence while sipping on cocktails derived from traditional European recipes. The dinner menu, which is constantly shifting to reflect what's in season, is not one to miss. La vie boheme!
