Step south of Oxford Street to explore the independent boutiques and cafés of London’s original creative hub, still home to many media companies. Soho has a strong sense of community and many traders here are long-established. But it is constantly evolving, with new shops and restaurants opening frequently, making it a lively and dynamic neighbourhood.

This long-established gallery moved to its present home – a five-storey building transformed and extended by renowned architects O’Donnell + Tuomey – in 2012. With a changing exhibition programme – including an annual photography prize – it is the largest public space in London in which to view British and International photography in all its forms. In addition to the gallery spaces there is a learning studio, café and a fantastic bookshop.
