Ybor City

Back in the day, Ybor City was home to the world’s largest cigar rolling factories and the central hub for hispanic refugees to make new lives. Today, although some of those factories still stand, they are occupied by some of our favorite restaurants, bars, and after-work hangouts. From sushi and breweries to the historic architecture, Ybor City offers some of the coolest places to visit. The City also boasts multiple historic hispanic clubs including the Cuban Club, Centro Asturiano, and El Centro Español de Tampa. Overall, Ybor is a modernization of some the coolest history Florida has to offer.

A crepe shop in the middle of ybor; unusual, but really good nonetheless. La Creperia Cafe serves savory or sweet crepes, depending on your mood. They vary from shrimp and veggies to Nutella and banana and are all guaranteed to be fluffy and straight off the griddle. Although the cafe offers other menu items, it stands as a french inspired restaurant in an otherwise Latin community.
