The Big Five
A Nine-Hour-long Queue
From the longest queues, the most numerous procession and the most expensive restaurant with only 22 exclusive seats, the Japan Pavilion has won many “Expo Guinness Records”. In fact, there hasn't been one day when visitors haven't shared a photo on their social profile (viral is an understatement) of the estimated waiting times – even of nine hours – to enter this world of “harmonious diversity”. Diversity of colors, seasons and solutions to address the Expo 2015 theme; harmony in the elements, the messages and the route between the various rooms, with singular projections and interactive cascades, demonstrate the experience and the techniques behind the Rising Sun's food and traditional cuisine. Apart from anything else, if thousands and thousands of people choose to queue for hours and hours to enter this pavilion there must be a very good reason! Among tastings of sushi, sake and parades with traditional kimonos, you can also meet Hello Kitty with her red bow. If you're a huge fan of Japanese cartoons and also our adorable [Foody](http://www.expo2015.org/it/cos-e/il-tema/la-mascotte), don't miss the two daily parades (at 12 noon and 4pm), the perfect occasion for a super combo with the two mascots to be immortalized in a selfie! Ah, while you're at it: don't forget the hashtag [#faccedaexpo](https://instagram.com/explore/tags/faccedaexpo/) ;)
