The Big Five
Vodka (Rivers of)
We could write loads about the Russia Pavilion: its innovative structure stretching towards the sky, the wood, the semi-transparent interiors and the green technologies. Or we could start from the motto: “Grow for the world. Cultivate for the future.” The belvedere, the periodic table of the elements (the size of a wall), the species of plants on show or the kitchen (which daily turns out multiple tastings of traditional cuisine). In reality, at Expo 2015, the Russia Pavilion initially meant just one thing: the incredible nocturnal parties on the terrace. The hues of dusk and top quality [Beluga](http://www.vodka-beluga.com/) vodka (not to mention, hardly a superfluous detail, rivers of it). Virtually every evening. A crazy success. There are those who win with architecture, and those who win with the program of events. And then, those who win with vodka. What else is there to say? спасибо! Translated into project language, this is party design. Obligatory reference: “The planet as a festival” by Ettore Sottsass.
