We're on the north side of the Decumanus, between Piazza Italia and the entrance to Roserio. In front of us, a series of important national pavilions. Starting from the so-called “Big Five”: Switzerland, Germany, the USA, Japan, and Russia. But that's not all. At Expo city, in this neighborhood, there are loads of things to see. Are you ready? This neighborhood was overseen by the Expo 2015 Social Media Team. All the photos are by Beatrice Bianchetti and Anna Chiara Maggiolini.

A World of Swings

Address
231 Ainslie Street

Among the blocks of wood stacked up like boxes that constitute the entire architectural structure of the [Estonian Pavilion](http://estonia.eu/expo2015/en/#home) called “Gallery of...”, it's impossible not to be attracted by the wooden swings hanging along its sides (ready for use). These swings are part of the pavilion concept and their use allows the kinetic energy to be transformed into electricity. As well as the strong link with the Expo 2015 theme, the tie-up is also with the national Estonian sport, an invention that has something incredible about it. We're talking about kiiking, a national Estonian sport (invented in 1996), which consists of dangling on a swing whose fulcrum is set more than seven metres high, so that it's possible to make a 360° loop. In short, at the end of a rather incredible adrenalin-pumping show, on a terse September day a new world record of 7.15 meters was established. The audience left thrilled, for us this was yet another component of this incredible circus called: Expo 2015. We might say: sports performance design. Not that easy...
