Kent, Ohio is an historical town located on the Cuyahoga River twenty minutes east of Akron. It’s best known for Kent State and the events of 1970, but in recent years, the town has been expanding its restaurant scene, community events, and connection to the university, making it an exciting place to live. Known as the Tree City, the best time to be in Kent is fall for the changing leaves, and summer for all of the green—a welcome sight after the cold Ohio winter!

Bottles (short for 101 Bottles of Beer on the Wall) has a huge selection of craft beer and wine that’s always being updated. It’s the go-to place for picking up beers for a night in. They also have a bar and outdoor/indoor seating, if you’d rather hang there.
